Q. How many E3's have you worked now?

I've worked 6 E3's now. My very first E3 was with the Game/Show Daily's. Every year I swing by in the morning to pick up a copy of it 'cause I know how tough it is to get people to take & read them. And yes, I do end up reading them in the break room. The majority of my E3's have been with Tecmo Koei. In 2010 I was with Virgin Gaming. That was a lot of fun & I got to sit on Richard Branson's lap for an episode of West Coast Customs. Heehee~

Q. Have you played any characters with eloborate costumes?

I've played a character with a very custom-made costume for San Diego Comic-Con, but not for E3. I auditioned to play Kasumi for Tecmo back in 2005, but I didn't get it. Ironically, Tecmo has now merged with Koei so in a sense, I still get to work for them...though just not as Kasumi. I'd love to play her in that black ninja get-up featured in DOA5.

Q. Has E3 changed much since our last interview 2009?

E3 has not changed much since 2009, but this year I did feel that there were more people doing the cosplay thing on the show floor. Oh yeah- & booth babes are SMART & well-informed now. ^^ There are a lot more gamer girls out there & I don't get guys asking me if I play games. It's just kind of assumed and they ask other things about me...like, "Where are you from?"

Q.When you say SMART & Well-informed, do you mean knowing more about gaming and the products they are representing or something else?

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! OK, the term "smart" can be debatable, but I have noticed that more booth babes are trained before E3 to know how to handle the controller, talk about the game, etc. It's still a step of progress considering that it used to be that you walked up to a girl & they knew NOTHING about the game & they'd giggle it off.

Q. Do you think that in gaming has a greater appeal to women these days as opposed to before and that may make a difference?

Gaming has definitely grown to be a greater appeal to a bigger audience because the genres have expanded & it's just not about hacking & slashing an opponent or FPS... I believe the Kinect & Wii have opened up the market & now you can exercise utilizing games 'cause let's be honest, women LOVE to work on their bodies, but you can also play UFC with the Kinect & be more comfortable because you're familiar with the product. I think sometimes girls get turned off from gaming 'cause of the controllers. It's come a long way from Nintendo's AB buttons, you know?

Q. I know I follow a lot of K-pop bands, and they seem to always be tweeting about their excitement over the newest game releases like call of duty etc, but I understand that its much more part of Asian culture growing up than it may be for girls in north America.

Yes, Asian cultures have a tendency to embrace gaming more. Hahahahah...did you hear of South Korea asking for refunds for Diablo 3 server fiasco? ^_^

Q. Now that you are an e3 veteran what would you say the biggest difference or best thing about e3 compared to other similar events?

I have not been able to go to TGS or GDC so I can't fairly compare re: video games, but compared to other conventions such as CES or even Comic-Con ('cause video games have a presence there now), E3 has a very special place in my heart. For me, the biggest thing that stands out about E3 is the prestige that it carries as it continues to be an invite only show. That may sound snobby, but I've been to many other conventions and there's something to be said when exclusivity is involved.

Q. Besides E3 what events do you like to participate in or is your favorite and why?

Besides E3, I've been a regular of San Diego Comic-Con thanks to Skybound Entertainment & Circle of Confusion. This will be my third year working with "The Walking Dead" comic side. I love Comic-Con 'cause of all the PEOPLE who have this insane love of comics, sub-culture, cosplay, anything that might resemble nerdom. I know, I just spoke about exclusivity & E3, but with Comic-Con it WORKS having thousands of people all around you. There's this energy in the air & I love talking to the crowds about their interests.

Q. Do you ever get a chance to join the discussion panels or meet celebs at SDCC? If you weren't working E3 or SDCC do you think you would go as an attendee to get your yearly fix?

I WISH I can go to discussion panels, but unfortunately, I'm always working & I can't stand in those awful lines. If I wasn't working at these conventions, yes, I'd definitely go as an attendee. In fact, I'd like to go to WonderCon & GDC within the next year.

Q.What highlights do you have from this, or any e3's past?

Highlights: Last year's E3, I got a fan note & it was really sincere & sweet so I kept it in my sketchbook. This year's E3, we got a couple of guys to get us some refreshments from Gree-we were thirsty! Also, this year, we handed out "I'm a Fighter" necklaces to promote DOA5, but they were nice swag so we weren't giving them out to just anyone. So Mai Miura & I decided to quiz people video game questions in order for them to get one. OMG...her questions were HARD so nobody would get one. My questions people got, but I was surprised at some of the answers. For instance: "What video game came out recently from Blizzard?" His response: "Uh...World of Warcraft?" Fail. Another: "Nathan Drake is the main character from which video game?" His answer: "Uhhhhh...Red Dead Redemption?"
